As of July 20, 2023, there is a problem with off-campus access to database “Oxford English Dictionary Online（OED）“. There are no problems with access from the campus.

We have asked the provider to restore the problem, but the timing of the restoration is not yet determined.

The library will respond to Hitotsubashi University Open Campus 2023 as follows;

On August 8 and August 19, the library may be crowded and noisy due to open campus tours. Please be forewarned.

The library will be closed as follows.

It will take longer than usual to obtain external library materials ordered by inter-library loans and to answer queries directed to the Help Desk.
If the due date is on a day when the library is closed, the due date will be extended to the following day.

The Library offers long-term loans for the Summer Vacation.

Period: July 19 – September 4, 2023

• This does not include bound periodicals, and “not for loan” items.
• When the expiration date of the student ID card is earlier than the due date, the expiration date will be regarded as the due date.
• The loan period of the Chiyoda Campus Library materials will also be extended on the same schedule.

About Renewal

• Users can renew materials already borrowed into the long-term loan period, unless the materials are overdue or have been reserved by another user.
• Using MyLibrary, users can view their checked-out or reserved items and renew their loans.
• When using MyLibrary, users can renew into the long-term loan period from 9 a.m. on July 19.

As of July 11, 2023, the problem has been restored.

As of July 5, 2023, there is a problem with the search box (HERMES-Search) and advanced search button on the top page of the library website. When accessing from outside the campus, the search (result) screen of HERMES-Search may not be displayed correctly.

We are currently working on restoring the system. If the screen does not display properly, please access from the campus network or from here without going through the remote access system (Some search results are limited).
