Conditions of Use

The rooms can be used only for the purpose of study and research by Hitotsubashi University students (including research and auditing students).
A “group" refers to at least 3 students.

Room Numbers and Locations

There are 5 rooms in total.

  • Rooms 1-3: Main Building 2F (Wireless LAN)
  • Rooms 4 & 5: Periodicals Annex 5F (Wireless LAN)
    • All rooms contain whiteboards and Whiteboard markers.
    • Projector can be borrowed.

Procedure for Use

  1. Reservations for rooms can be made up to a week in advance (same-day reservations are also possible). Note that reservations are limited to one group per room per time period.
  2. Please present your Student ID at the counter and make an entry in the Group Study Room Use Register.Within 5 minutes of the start of your scheduled time period, you will be able to receive a key.
  3. Please return the key before your time period ends. If there are no other reservations, use of the room can continue into the next period. Please bring the key and your Student ID to the main counter within 5 minutes of the end of your time period, and complete the extension procedure.

Important Notes

  • Reservations will be canceled 10 minutes after their scheduled time if no contact is made.
  • Please strictly observe the end of time periods.
  • In the event that the key is not returned on time, your use of the Library may be suspended.
  • Users who return keys late will not be able to use the room for the next period even if it is available. Please strictly observe room usage times.
  • Users are responsible for turning on and off the air conditioning/ventilation and lights in the rooms.
  • Users are responsible for closing any windows they open.
  • As in other reading spaces, eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited.
