In accordance with the lowering of the University’s activity guideline level from “Level 3″ to “Level 1″, we will resume using the group study rooms and Clock Tower Commons on June 2.

Hours of use: Weekdays until 8 p.m. Number of seats: 3 seats for 4 people, 1 seat for 2 people, 4 seats for 1 person

Common Precautions
We may change our services in the future depending on the situation. If there are any changes, we will announce them on the website.
In order to prevent the spread of infection, please observe the following precautions when visiting the library.
Please refrain from entering the library if you are unwell, such as fever (37.5℃ or higher), cough, or feeling lethargic.
You must wear a mask. If you do not wear it, you will not be allowed to enter.
Please wash your hands or disinfect your fingers.
There are disinfectants for the desk on each floor. Please disinfect by yourself when using the reading seat.
12,000 academic ebooks published from 2017 to 2022 by Cambridge University Press or other partner press are now available. New titles will come up every month.

* Some titles are not available even if they are published from 2017 to 2022. Cambridge History Series, Cambridge Companion Series, Handbooks and Textbooks are also not covered. *As a rule, purchase requests for eligible titles during this period will be cancelled.

More than 100,000 eBooks from a variety of publishers are available, including Routledge for the humanities and social sciences, and CRC Press for the science and technology sector. *All titles are available for a limited time including contents not contracted by the university. *Titles in the trial are not available for download in PDF, but only for online viewing and printing.

Entrance of the library is at the Clock Tower on the West Campus. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, the main entrance is closed. You can use the south entrance. *Click here for details.

The usage regulations of the Chiyoda Campus Library have been amended as follows.
1. Change of material categories and loan periods
From February 16, 2022, we will add a new category of “Books for Study" to the materials in the Chiyoda Campus Library. We will change the loan period from “2 weeks" to “Same as the Main Library". Except “Books for Study", graduate students can borrow books for two months and faculties can borrow books until the end of the fiscal year. However, if a book is reserved for more than two months after the check-out date, we may ask you to return it.
The new loan period will be effective for loans and renewals after 10:00 a.m. on February 21, 2022.

Penalties for overdue materials will be applied from April 1, 2022. The penalty period for materials borrowed from the Chiyoda Campus will be the same as that for the Central Library. During the penalty period, no new materials can be checked out or renewed. (The number of days you are late from the due date, up to 60 days, with a grace period of 10 days)
