We have an access problem of Hermes-Link and e-Journal / e-Book List via Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

There was a problem with HERMES-Catalog and HERMES-IR from 2024/5/5 (Sun.) early dawn to 2024/5/7 (Tue.) 8:30.
As of 2024/5/7, the problem has been resolved.

The computer area on the 1st floor will be unavailable due to routine maintenance on May 8 from 1 pm until closing time.

There was a problem with HERMES-Catalog and MyLibrary from 2024/4/24 (Wed.) 18:30 to 2024/4/25 (Thu.) 8:15.
As of 2024/4/25, the problem has been resolved.

In April limited, the help desk for international students has been set up. The student staff would support international students with any questions or requests regarding library services. Please feel free to consult the student staff.

Questions include but are not limited to:

  • How to find access to certain books or articles,
  • How to use the self-checkout machines,
  • How to borrow certain reading materials from other institutions,
  • How to print electronic files in the library.

We have entered into a three-year transformative agreement (*1) with Elsevier from April 2024 to March 2027.

*1 Transformative Agreement
This is the agreement under which the fees paid by universities and other institutions to publishers for access to articles will be progressively converted to APCs (Article Processing Charges), with the aim of expanding open access publication.

Under this agreement, open access publication of articles submitted as Corresponding Author to Core Hybrid Journals in Elsevier’s designated Freedom Collection is eligible for OA support.

Partner press: Boydell & Brewer, Edinburgh University Press, ISEAS–Yusof Ishak Institute, Liverpool University Press, etc.

* As a rule, purchase requests for eligible titles during this period will be cancelled.
