Due to construction work on the 4th floor of the Main Library, the procedures for accessing Rare Materials will be temporarily changed as outlined below.

Period: February 10, 2026 to March 31, 2026

  • Please submit your request to use Rare Materials no later than seven open weekdays prior to your desired date of use.
  • Rare Materials will not be available on the day following Sundays or national holidays.

Please note that these arrangements may be subject to change depending on the progress of the construction work, so be sure to check for the latest information.

The Group Study Rooms will be closed on the following schedule due to renovation work.

Date:  February 9, 2026 ～ February 15, 2026
Place: Group Study Rooms 1～3 on 2F of Library Main Building
　　　 Group Study Rooms 4～5 on 5F of Periodicals Annex

Please use the Clock Tower Commons (TSR Commons) during the closure of the group study rooms. The period when the group study rooms are closed, the opening hours of the Commons will be extended to 8:40 am-6:30 pm.

We are currently carrying out renovation work on the heating system in the main library. (Date: October 1, 2025 ～ end of March 2026)

There will be noisy work. If some passages and reading seats will be unavailable due to the work, we will notice in advance.
