  • Asahi Shimbun Newspaper Database Kikuzo II [added April 23] [updated May 15]
    More than 12 million articles and advertisements from the first issue of 1879 to the latest issue of the Asahi Shimbun (Newspaper). Articles from AERA, Weekly Asahi, and Chiezo are also available.
    * You can switch to an English interface after logging in.

  • Cambridge Books for Research EBA [added July 7]
    12,000 academic ebooks published from 2012 to 2020 by Cambridge University Press or other partner press. Read more.

  • De Gruyter [added May 19] [updated June 23]
    About 75,000 books published by De Gruyter and partner publishers from 1650 to 2016 are available. The site is rich in content for teaching and research, including history, philosophy, religion, literature, linguistics, art, architecture, sociology, psychology, pedagogy, law, political science, economics and business administration, mathematics, and environmental and biological sciences.

    A comprehensive full-text database provided by ProQuest. Search and browse thousands of journals and their full-text articles. Covers fields ranging from the humanities and social sciences to medicine, natural sciences, and engineering. Includes newspaper articles and dissertations from various countries.

    Contains bibliographies of dissertations (doctoral/master’s theses) from universities around the world, mainly in North America. Among them, the full text of the theses since 1997 is included in PDF file.

    More than 140,000 academic e-books in various fields.

  • ProQuest’s Alexander Street Academic Video Online
    A video streaming service for educational institutions. It contains more than 60,000 videos and provides transcriptions for 95% of the titles recorded. You can also view and search the transcription while the video is playing.
