Cataloging and publication of materials related to Kinnosuke Otsuka

The materials that had been organized in bulk were reorganized and each item was newly numbered. The total number of materials is now 30,686.

Acquisition of permission to publish letters related to Kinnosuke Otsuka

Of the 2,369 letters originating with Otsuka, we contacted both senders and recipients in order to obtain permission to release 1,353 items, excluding those that contain information about (1) third-party evaluations, (2) illnesses of recipients or third parties, or (3) personnel matters. As a result, 827 items were made available for viewing.

Cleaning and digitization of lecture notes of materials related to Kinnosuke Otsuka

We digitized 202 lecture notes of Kinnosuke Otsuka and made them available to the public in HERMES-IR if there is no risk of copyright infringement. One of them was soiled, so it was cleaned by a specialist in advance.

Publication of faculty-related catalogs

The tentative catalog of materials related to faculty members was confirmed and made public on the library website. The following nine collections were opened: materials related to Shuji Aoyama, materials related to Seiji Tanaka, materials related to Shigeto Tsuru, materials related to Shingo Nakamura, materials related to Tokuzo Fukuda, materials related to Yoshio Fujii, materials related to Ryuzo Maitani, materials related to Shiro Masuda, and materials related to Shigetaka Mouri.

Media conversion

20 open-reel tapes and 2 cassette tapes of materials related to Kinnosuke Otsuka, 4 open-reel tapes of materials related to Shotaro Takase, and 3 cassette tapes of materials related to Koichiro Muramatsu have been digitized.
