On Thursday, June 24, I sat in when Elmer Davis discussed this with George Taylor (Chief, Far East) and Mr. Markham (Chief, Balkans). Davis commented bitterly on the Jugoslav and Polish Ambassadors, said OSS was at the bottom of this, and expressed complete confidence the legislative blowup would pass.
