      You can request the ebook you need!
  1. On search results page, notice there are many eBooks which are “Available on request”. You may read them up to 5 minutes. (Books with “Available” don’t have a time limit.)
  2. If you continue to use the book after 5 min., “REQUEST THIS BOOK” window will pop up. Fill out the form and submit if you wish to continue using the book.
      * You need to make an Ebook Central Account(for free) to make requests.
      * Ignore the “REQUESTED ACCESS” column, for we are going to purchase eBook type without loan period.
  3. After submitting request from Ebook Central,please also make a book purchase request via MyLibrary.
  4. We are notifying whether your request is approved or not by email.
  5. Requests from ProQuest EBook Central are counted as Hitotsubashi Univ. Lib. Book Purchase Requests. Your eBook requests will not be processed until we receive your request from MyLibrary.

    Requests from university members who are not eligible for Hitotsubashi Univ. Lib. Book Purchase Requests cannot be approved due to budget limitation. Submitting requests is okay, but please keep in mind we cannot actually purchase the book.

    For students: the cost of eBook will be included in your Student Request’s total price.
